Precipitation-hardening stainless and ultra-high-strength grades for load-critical components.
Where the part has to carry load and still resist corrosion, precipitation-hardening stainless is usually the compromise that works: 17-4PH at 1,100–1,300 MPa after ageing, 13-8Mo where toughness matters more, and the maraging grades for the highest strength.
Heat treatment is the whole specification here. We supply in the condition you ask for — solution annealed, H900, H1025, H1075, or custom — and report the achieved mechanical properties per lot.
| Grade | UNS | Typical service |
|---|---|---|
| 17-4PH | S17400 / 1.4542 | Valve stems, pump shafts, offshore hardware; 1,100–1,300 MPa after ageing. |
| 17-7PH | S17700 / 1.4568 | Springs, diaphragms and aircraft structures; good formability before ageing. |
| 15-5PH | S15500 / 1.4545 | Better transverse toughness than 17-4PH; large-section forgings. |
| 13-8Mo | S13800 | High strength with good toughness; missile and turbine components. |
| 15-7PH | S15700 | Diaphragms, bellows and honeycomb panels. |
| Custom 465 | S46500 | Very high strength with excellent toughness; landing-gear and torque-tube parts. |
| M100 / M250 / M300 | Maraging 200/250/300 | Rocket motor cases, centrifuge rotors, high-performance tooling. |
