A concentric reducer brings two pipe sizes onto the same centreline with a conical transition that keeps the flow symmetrical. It is the default reducer wherever gas or clean liquid is running and no liquid pocket or gas trap has to be avoided.
Cold or hot stamped from seamless tube, with the cone angle controlled so the boundary layer does not separate at high flow.
Lengths follow ASME B16.9 for the matching size pair; non-standard lengths to drawing.
Both ends bevelled to ASME B16.25 and machined to the ordered schedules — the two schedules may differ.
Marked as large end × small end, e.g. DN100 × DN80 or 4 in × 3 in.

Seamless stamped 90° elbow, LR or SR, DN15–DN2000, to ASME B16.9 / GB/T 12459.
