Slip-on flange with a raised hub — stiffer than a plate flange, cheaper than a weld neck.
| Size range | DN10–DN600 |
|---|---|
| Pressure class | PN0.6–PN40, Class 150–1500 |
| Standards | HG/T 20592-2009, GB/T 9116-2010, JB/T 81, ASME B16.5, ASME B16.47 |
| Face types | RF, FM, M, T, G, FF |
| Welding | Single external fillet weld |
| Bore | Machined to the ordered pipe outside diameter |
A hubbed slip-on sits between the plate flange and the weld neck: the pipe is fillet-welded as with a slip-on, but a short hub stiffens the ring and carries more of the bolt load into the pipe. It suits medium-pressure stainless lines where a weld neck is not justified on cost.
Hub height and taper are machined to the HG/T 20592 or ASME B16.5 dimensional table for the class ordered.
Bore is machined to clear the pipe outside diameter, with a small gap at the weld for penetration.
RF, FM, M, T, G and FF faces available. Installation is a single external fillet weld plus bolts to the mating flange.
Typical service: petroleum, chemical, gas, water treatment, pharmaceutical and food piping.

Long-hub WN flange butt-welded to pipe, for high pressure and cyclic service.
